This is Acrobat DC. Acrobat XI worked fine. There is an X in the upper right hand corner which allows me to close the box. I don’t know whether to do an uninstall-reinstall or whether there is a simpler fix. I can then drag the file from the email attachment window to an Explorer window which effectively saves the file.
